Wireless Triple Play Demonstrated in Japan

LG, Nortel, and Japanese BB Mobile, which belongs to Softbank, recently succeeded in demonstrating wireless triple play in Saitama Prefecture in Japan, delivering broadband voice, video, and data services simultaneously across multiple wireless broadband technologies. The demonstration made use of BB Mobile's HSDPA network, and LG and Nortel's pre-WiMAX (802.16e) and WLAN networks.
